28) SADAQAT AL-FITR
19 April 2022
This years Sadaqat al Fit rates have been set as the following;
One may give any of these as Sadaqatul-Fitr per person.
Alternatively, one may give the value of the above in cash.
Rather, it is better to give in cash as that will fulfil the need of the poor quicker.
PLEASE PAY YOUR SADAQAT- AL FITR BY THE 27th FAST.
After this date, Carlisle Islamic Centre cannot guarantee that your Sadaqul Fitr will reach poor Muslims beofre Eid salah.
You will be able to pay your Fitra at the Mosque in the designated collection box.
There will also be a collection box at Madina Market, 131 Botchetgate from the 22nd April
27) CHANGES TO TERAWIH TIMES
14 April 2022
Due to the days getting longer through the month of Ramadan, the 2nd Terawih Jamaat will now be at 11:30pm every night.
This is to allow enough time for the first congregation to complete their prayers.
26) COMMUNITY IFTAR GATHERING

We at Carlisle Islamic Centre would like to take this opportunity to invite you to a community Iftar event confirmed for Wednesday 20th April

Please can everybody bring along one dish.
All brothers and children welcome.
Maghrib will be read at the Masjid at 8:32pm, followed by iftar at Greystone Community Centre.
Unfortunately we cannot accommodate sisters on this occasion.

Open invite to all but please do NOT come if you are vulnerable or already carrying Covid symptoms.
🕋 Zuhr Jamat @CIC Masjid will be at 1:30pm, In Sha Allah.
🔸Upon arrival to cemetery, please act responsibly and conscious of covid sensitivities.
🔸After Janazah Salah, please leave safely and responsibly.
🔸If you can stay behind to help with burial, please do.

Innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji'oon
"Indeed we all belong to Allah & we all will eventually return to Him"
All are requested to keep him and his family in your pious Duas.
🤲🏽 Please take this opportunity to remember the deceased and his family in your prayers. Also, take this opportunity to internalise the reality of Death and our inevitable meeting with it regardless of age and health.

🔹Eid Prayer will take place at Bitts Park
🔹Prayer will start at 9:30 prompt
🔹Pay and Display parking available at Castle Car Park, Devonshire Walk, CA3 8DN
🔹Masks/Face Covering Strongly Recommended
🔹Must bring own prayer mats
🔹No Wudhu facilities
Please note if the weather worsens, we may revert to the Salah at the mosque.
♦️3 Jama’ahs (9:30, 10:00 & 10:30 Start Times)
♦️No capacity for Sisters
♦️No Booking Required
♦️When a jama’ah is full the doors will be locked. Brothers will have to return for next jama’ah
♦️ MUST bring own prayer mat
♦️Face Mask/Covering strongly recommended.
♦️Strongly recommend performing wudhu at home.
♦️Recommend children under 12 not to attend
♦️Recommend elderly not to attend
